2-Tier Sharp Edge Real Cake

• Demo baking of Mutlu Dükkan’s special chocolate cake recipe
• Setting up square and round cakes with ganache
• Coloring fondant
• Covering square and round cakes with fondant and applying sharp edges
• Covering the middle extension piece with fondant; applying gold texture on it and preparing it for stacking
• Introducing all tools and techniques to prepare a perfect 2-tier cake
• Preparing the main cake board that will support the 2-tier cake
• Stacking 2-tier cake including the middle extension piece
• Applying bas–relief stone effect on the bottom tier
• Using edible paper to apply “toile de jouy” texture on the top tier

4-Tier Sharp Edge Dummy (Styrofoam) Cake

As baking, ganaching and preparing real tiered cakes are shown in the first part of the cake decorating masterclass; new decoration techniques will be taught on dummy (styrofoam) cakes in order to avoid from spending extra time for the same baking and ganaching processes.

• Preparing edible glitter from scratch and applying on the 2nd tier of the cake
